Strategy

There are 4 key areas to look at when reviewing and planning a Disability Access and Inclusion Strategy for an organisation:

-Environments: Both physical buildings and virtual platforms

-Governance: Policies and procedures

-Communications: Internal and external

-People: Staff knowledge and attitude towards change

These are all important in different ways and are often interlinked, however it can be useful to separate them to prioritise and plan work.

Courses

This course is an introduction to working with neurodivergent, chronically ill, and/or disabled performers, crew, volunteers and employees. In this course you will learn how to better work with and be more inclusive of neurodivergent, chronically ill, and disabled artists. Our attitude on the course is that it is a safe space for people to learn. No-one needs to worry about saying the wrong thing or causing offense and any questions are welcome. The course involves both lecture style and interactive elements.

Alt Text and Accessible Social Media Basics

This course will cover the basic knowledge needed to make your social media and marketing more accessible. All of the information included is free to access on the internet but many people still lack confidence in their ability to produce accessible content. There will be the chance to see examples and to practice and receive kind and constructive feedback.

Aimed at teachers, leaders, and directors of performance organisations, workshop is a crash course in supporting, teaching, and performing alongside disabled and neurodivergent improvisers. They could be cast, students, colleagues and beyond! The first half of the workshop is interactive, scenario-based discussion and the second half is more lecture-style where you'll have the chance to ask as many questions as you like without any judgement.
